Whoa ! Google chrome kicks ass over all known Internet Browsers. We will be come faster and better arena players now ! :woot:

But, first we need a fix for entering the room with Chrome. I tried clicking on Internet Explorer but obviously it gave me a large black screen.

Works fine for me, use the firefox icon. The technicians at work seem to be impressed with it, looks nice but with anything new sometimes it pays to be cautious until they work out any bugs.

ok Fire. Incidentally, it is advisable not to set Chrome as default Browser. This results in Internet Explorer 7 being loaded without all its add-ons, when you open it. This hampers all the chat room logging in even talkcity.com trivia chat rooms which function using java cannot load. So, I think it is advisable to keep IE as default browser and just use Chrome.

I have just downloaded but it says i need a plug in to get into arena.. But atleast it doesnt crash.
Infact firefox 3.01 is the same wheni upgraded that, it now crashes everytime i try to get into any chat room.
Any ideas what i have done wrong ??

have you installed this plugin? I have not updated my firefox yet and the old version works fine, might be a bug with the new firefox. Try install the above NPPGWrap again, that might fix it

What happens though if you don't have firefox/netscape on your pc? It won't install that plug in, it tells you that it didn't detect netscape on your pc so you need to install it before you can install the plug in

my Data Execution Protection keeps closing page down whenever i try to get into a room on firefox. That never ed happened until i upgraded, i keep reintalling the add on but nothing works now. Any ideas??

I dont seem to have much luck with chrome either, i do have the add ons but like Juls it says i dont

without doing any research on it yet all I can suggest is uninstalling ff v3 and installing an earlier version. I will poke around and see if there is a known fix for it

Not sure if this will work or not but someone posted this as a fix for another chat network

open java from the control panel
select the 'advanced' tab
click on 'default java for browsers'
tick 'mozilla family'
click on 'apply' and then 'ok'

untested as I dont have ff3 and am not in too much of a hurry to update at this stage after reading some of the issues on the forums

I still cant use firefox, it is still crashing when i try to get into a room..
But i have managed to get chrome working, i can get into arena and chat rooms with that, so thanks
