I know it states that their is a grading system in place to make it a more fairer competition but how exactly does it work?

I am just a bit confused looking at some of the results so far how some of the players are playing in lower grades than thier performances reflect and also going on the previous seasons performances..

So I'm curious anout how you do grade players.
