Trivia Arena Code Of Conduct
The Chat room is a 'G Rated' Environment, it is expected you conduct yourself in a manner that is appropriate behaviour around children. There will be zero tollerence for those who do not act accordingly with their access being removed temporarly or permanently

◦Please be respectful of others while in the chat room and posting on the message boards.
◦Please do not use inappropriate language.
◦Discussions of an adult or sexual nature are not permitted.
◦Discussions of illegal subjects will not be permitted
◦Any inappropriate posts or replys will be removed or edited by Arena Staff.
◦Bookings Threads are for the two coaches only, do not post in these threads, please start a new thread in the general forum instead.
◦Please do not advertise businesses, sites or other chat rooms without permission from management.
◦Please do not use scripts in the room without permission from management.
◦There are many sites that assist with the operation of chat bots, this is not our primary role, please confine all bot related questions to the forums and not the chat room.
◦Hosts in the room are representatives from other rooms, their views are not necessarily those of the Arena Network, they are experienced and there to help, please follow their instructions.
◦All topics of conversation must be of a nature that is acceptable around young teens.
◦We have a selection process for staff, if you would like to be considered for a position please send an email outlining why you feel you would be a suitable staff member.

Bans:

In addition to the above rules the following categories will be monitored and any infractions of these will also be met with stern resolve.
◦personal attack
◦abusive behaviour / language
◦defamation (backstabbing)
◦derogatory remarks (inc sexism, racism and excessive sarcasm)
◦deliberate ignorance
◦poor sportsperson like conduct
◦harassment / belittling (inc accusing, accusation)
◦threatening remarks
◦baiting / taunting

If you are deemed responsible for any of the above categories of behaviour you will 1st be warned and if it continues you will be banned for a certain length of time, this may also include match suspensions.

Appeals:

If you may appeal any decision / action by sending an email to the committee@triviaarena.com. outlining how you feel you have been misunderstood. Please include direct quotes and times so they can be verified via room logs. Do not include any whispers, email or messenger correspondence, we only monitor the chat room and are only concerned with behaviour demonstrated in there. This is not an avenue to implicate other members rather a forum to appeal against the action taken against you. The committee will meet to hear your case and make a decision.


Complaints:

Should you wish to make a complaint about the Arena, its staff or another members conduct please email complaints@triviaarena.com. and include the following information:
◦Your Name and or chat nick
◦Your contact Email address
◦Date and time in GMT+10 (the zone which the bot logs the room)
◦A detailed description of incident
◦how you were affected by this incident
◦who was involved and what were their roles
◦what rule was violated or ruling should be in place to prevent this

Complaints must be made by the person affected by the incident and cannot be made on behalf of someone else. This email will be received by myself only and in turn be forwarded to a neutral body of committee members for speedy resolution. You will recieve a reply email with a case number and your case will be appointed a case manager so it may be handled in an efficient manner.

We believe by being strict on behaviour we will promote an atmosphere that will result in an enjoyable experience for everyone involved
